About

I’m a fine art photographer of the travelling variety, capturing the beauty in living things and landscapes, always keeping conservation in mind.  On my travels, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing unique moments in the environment, where soft clouds mute the harsh rays of the sun over dunes of fine, golden sand; where variations in temperature reveal secrets held in blue ice.

With nearly two decades of experience in fine art and design, image composition is paramount.  My camera captures the world as I see it.  I celebrate even the smallest nuances of nature and record the environment as a record of our ever-changing planet.  My hope is to be a voice for this earth and inspire environmental conscientiousness in the viewer, the listener.

My work has been featured at the Blue Dome Arts Festival in Tulsa, OK, and is registered with Alamy stock agency.  When I’m not booking flights to distant lands, chilling out in the serenity of Alaska, or testing new photography gear, I’m overseeing digital media production or customizing frames for other art works from my base camp in Oklahoma.

My hobbies include camping, backpacking, hiking, fishing, and cooking.  Photographers who inspire me include Ansel Adams, Art Wolfe, Annie Liebowitz, Jim Bradenberg, Chase Jarvis and other artists who continually move forward with their work, no matter how difficult life may be.

I want to present the world not just in the way I see it,

but in a way you can relate to it.

I want to thank Jammie Kern for her help with my about page.  She is a writer born and raised west of Tulsa, OK.  You can find her here at www.jammiekern.com
